Special Combination of Language, travel and volunteer program

# Program itinerary #

Our special programs combine one of the above volunteer programs with sight-seeing and relaxing tours. Program starts from the first Saturday of each month.

Day 1 (Saturday): Arrival at the New Bangkok International Airport, meet at the airport and transfer by our car to a hostel / hotel.

Day 2 (Sunday): Orientation (0800-1000 hrs): explanation about Thailand, people, language, culture, customs and others. Followed by trip to Ayuthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage site by famous vehicle Tuktuk or mini-van to explore the ancient ruins temples. Go to community work.

Days 3 - 7 (Mon - Fri): Live in a beautiful rural Thai village outskirt of Ayuthaya town to experience Thai way of life. living with a caring Thai family, teach English to the children (age 6 – 12 yrs) in primary schools or play with the local kids (age 3-6 yrs) in child development centers or living in an apartment room work in an orphanage/shelter or other projects depending upon your choice of the program. In most of the cases, you will be with one or two other volunteers working in a place. During this period, you will become an integral part of community where you live and work. In many places you will have facilities for boating, hiking and biking around the local areas.

Day 7: At 5 pm go to Bangkok to stay overnight in a guest house at Khao San Road (Bangkok), where you will see a lot of foreigners, to start Kanchanaburi trip the following day.

Day 8: Trip to Kanchanaburi (128 km. west of Bangkok) starts at 7 am where you will be inspired by the pulse-pounding and magnificent Erawan waterfalls, The Bridge over River Kwai”, Elephant camps etc. etc. Absorb the irresistible culture of Thailand’s colorful past in various war museums such as Jeath War Museum. View the fabulously notorious Death Railway Bridge over the River Kwai. Stay at a guest house during the trip. You need to walk quite a lot – please wear sport shoes and easy clothes.

Day 9 – 20: Return to the same community in outskirt of Ayuthaya to work with kids.

Day 21: Check out at 11 am and leave for sea beach by car or mini-van. Start relaxing in the sea beach and exploring surrounding areas. Leave for Phataya, one of the most popular tourist destinations of Thailand, where there are several white sand sea beaches and a lot to explore. Sea food is the main attraction. During this Sea beach program we provide food allowance based on the reasonable local rate so that you can choose a range of delicious food items according to your choice.

Day 22-23: Relax in Pataya Beach, water sports, Thai Food etc.

Day 24: Check-out at 11 am and leave for Bangkok. We will drop you in Bangkok where you can catch a taxi to go to the place you want to go) then program ends!
